Drawing from the Beijing Line 1 Subway. In 2010 I moved out to the every west end of Line 1 for a few months. Near a huge steel factory which had been closed down for the Olympics. And near a military base. A very different vibe from Chaoyang. And I was the awkward foreigner there.
